Structural features Stainless Steel Gear Pump:

  • 1.Shaft end seal has three forms: packing seal, mechanical seal, rubber ring seal. Users can choose the appropriate seal structure according to the specific conditions of use.
    The pump has good self-priming, the moving parts in the pump use the liquid to achieve lubrication, so that the work can not add fluid and lubricant.
    The pump is mainly composed of pump body, gear, shaft, bearing, safety valve, front cover, back cover and sealing parts.
  • 2.When the gear is rotating in the pump body, the teeth are constantly entering and exiting engagement.If your working environment does not allow for leakage, magnetic pump is a good choice.
  • 3.In the suction chamber, the gear teeth gradually withdraw from the meshing state, so that the volume of the suction chamber gradually increases and the pressure decreases. The liquid enters the suction chamber under the action of the level pressure and enters the discharge chamber with the gear teeth.
    In the discharge chamber, the gear teeth gradually enter the meshing state, the teeth of the gear are gradually occupied by the gear teeth of a gear, the volume of the discharge chamber decreases, the pressure of the discharge chamber increases, so the liquid is discharged from the pump outlet, the gear is continuously rotating, the process continues, forming a continuous oil transfer process.

 

Stainless Steel Gear Pump Installation:

  • Before pump installation, check whether the pump and motor are damaged in the process of transportation, such as whether the motor is affected by moisture, whether the dust cover of the inlet and outlet of the pump is damaged and dirt enters the pump chamber.
  • The pump in the process of handling, should choose the appropriate lifting position, reduce the deformation of the pump.
  • The inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump shall be cleaned up and there shall be no sundries with hard particles.
  • pipe diameter is generally not less than the inlet and outlet diameter of the pump, the oil inlet line should be as short as possible, and reduce detours.
    When necessary, install a metal filter at the inlet. The effective area of the filter should not be less than three times the flow area of the pipeline.
  • During installation, the pump shall not be used to bear the weight of the pipeline.

SS Gear Pump Start:

  1. Before starting the machine, check whether the pump shaft rotates flexibly, whether there is jamming phenomenon, whether the valve on the inlet and outlet pipeline is open, and whether the rotation direction of the pump is correct.
  2. Before starting up the pump that has not been used for a long time, a certain amount of lubricating fluid should be injected into the pump chamber to reduce the dry friction in the oil absorption process of the pump and improve the self-priming performance of the pump.
  3. If there is abnormal noise or overheating after starting the machine, stop immediately for inspection.
  4. Check whether there is leakage at the pump shaft end.
    For example, the packing seal should be properly adjusted to tighten the pressure cover, other seals should be removed for inspection;
  5. If the transfer of hot oil, in the boot should be evenly preheating, preheating is the use of the transported medium through the pump body continuously.
    Preheating standard: the oil temperature at the suction inlet shall not be higher than the temperature of the pump body at 40℃, and the heating rate of preheating shall be controlled at < 40℃/h. During preheating, loosen the bolt fixing the pump body, tighten it after preheating.
  6. After the pump stop, first cut off the power. And then close the valve on the inlet and outlet pipeline, to avoid causing pump reversal.
