Summary:

1, bitumen pump is widely used in petroleum, chemical fiber, metallurgy, machinery, power, machine tools, ships, glass, road and other industries.

2. bitumen pump is suitable for conveying fuel oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, crude oil, bitumen and other lubricants and lubricating liquids similar to oil.

3, the bitumen pump in the industrial field for the lubrication pump, in the hydraulic system for the hydraulic pump, in the fuel system for the transmission and booster pump, in the oil system for the transmission and fuel pump.

4. The gear pump in the bitumen pump is suitable for conveying high temperature viscous liquid, thin or thick suspended liquid, floating liquid, medium viscosity range of 0.02-15pas, temperature ≤300℃.
It is suitable for conveying liquids within the viscosity range of 0.02-20pa. S in chemical, coating, dye, oil, food, medicine and other industries, and the temperature of conveying liquids is ≤80℃.
The gear shape has involute spur gear. The jacketed gear pump body USES the heat preservation jacket, can use the steam or the heat conduction oil circulation to conduct the heat preservation, therefore, the pump can work normally in the sub-zero environment, is the road construction industry and other transport bitumen ideal products.

Bitumen insulation pump is mainly used for pumping, conveying and spraying high temperature bitumen (residuum) liquid, the most suitable for roads and squares and other construction projects of bitumen (residuum) spraying operation, can also be used at room temperature for pumping pumps, transport non-high volatility, low flash point of petroleum products, such as various oils, machinery oil and heavy oil.

1. bitumen insulation pump

bitumen pump insulation is a gear pump structure of the bitumen insulation pump.
It has the characteristics of reliable operation, simple and compact structure and compact volume.
Used for pumping, conveying and spraying high temperature bitumen (residue) liquid, also can be used at room temperature for pumping, transporting non-volatile, low flash point petroleum products, such as various oils, machinery oils and heavy oils.
The heat preservation gear pump is rotary, mainly composed of pump body, machine seat, driving gear, driven gear and safety valve body, and its driving shaft is supported by an additional oil-bearing axle sleeve, supplemented by hg-24 saturated cylinder oil lubrication through the oil cup.
The two sides of the gear pump are provided with a connecting head with tapered pipe thread to connect the inlet pipe bit. The tapered pin is provided with internal thread for easy disassembly.
The sealing paper pad is also used to adjust the axial clearance of the gear, which is one-way between 0.05 and 0.08mm.
The lower part of the frame has four holes for installation and use. The thermal insulation gear pump is equipped with a safety valve. The factory has adjusted the working pressure to 1-+0.05mpa and sealed with lead.

bitumen insulation bitumen pump

Heat preservation pump is suitable for conveying medium temperature 350℃, viscosity is not more than 40mm2/s, no solid particles of bitumen, paraffin and other types of solidification at room temperature is easy to crystallize medium, as well as outdoor installation in the cold areas and process requirements for heat preservation occasions.
Heat conduction oil, hot water, steam and so on can be fed into the medium for heating and insulation.

Iii. Working principle

The pump body of the bitumen insulation pump is equipped with A pair of rotary gears, one active and one passive. The entire working cavity in the pump is divided into two independent parts (FIG. 1) by the meshing of two gears. A is the oil suction cavity and B is the oil discharge cavity.
Pump running, the driving gear driven gear rotates, when gear from the mesh to release, on the suction side (A) formation of partial vacuum, liquid is at atmospheric pressure under the action of suction pump, the suction pump liquid filled with each gear tooth valley and side (B), was taken to the discharge of oil into the meshing gear fluid being squeezed out, formed by high pressure liquid pump outlet discharge pump.
When the gear is constantly rotating, both sides of A and B continuously absorb and drain oil.

Structure of bitumen insulation pump

1) bitumen insulation pump is mainly composed of pump body, insulation layer, gear, front and rear cover and shaft end sealing device and other main parts.
Pump body and the insulating interlayer contact with high temperature medium such as part of the component materials adopt Ⅱ classes, namely: casting manufacturing carbon structure.
Gear, bearing sleeve, active and passive shaft are all made of high quality carbon structural steel with high strength and wear resistance after heat treatment.

2) the shaft end seal of bitumen insulation pump adopts multi-stage backflow high-temperature resistant packing seal, with reliable sealing performance.

3) the inlet and outlet of the bitumen insulation pump and the inlet and outlet of the heating pipe shall be connected with a standard flange (GB/ t9116-2000).

4) bitumen insulation pump and motor are connected by elastic coupling and installed on cast iron chassis.

Characteristics of thermal insulation bitumen pump

1) bitumen insulation pump structure is simple and compact, easy to install and use.

2) with good self-priming performance, no liquid must be added before each pump, which is especially convenient to use.

3) the heating tube is connected with a standard flange, which is convenient to connect with the sealing surface and reliable to seal.

4) heat insulation bitumen pump high temperature medium flow parts are made of Q235 cast carbon structural steel, and through the pressure test, so the pump has a good thermal adaptability, safe and reliable work.

The importance of cooling bitumen insulation pump

If the temperature of the pump support seat is too high, it will be deformed due to heat rise and cold contraction, resulting in different pump and motor, to prevent the high temperature of the pump support seat is an important factor for cooling the pump.

When the medium temperature of bitumen insulation pump is high, it is necessary to cool the pump.
The purpose of cooling is not a single, and is crucial, and not all pumps need to cool, when you transport the medium temperature is room temperature or small rotor pumps do not need to cool.

When the temperature of the medium transported by the bitumen insulation pump is greater than 200℃, it is necessary to cool the support seat of the pump.
When the medium is less than 200℃, as long as the pump bearing, seal end plate, packing box and cooling chamber can be cooled.

Vii. Matters needing attention

1) after the installation of the bitumen insulation pump, the following items shall be checked during the initial start-up:

Whether the valve on the inlet and outlet pipeline is open;

(2) pump steering is correct (from the motor for the pump clockwise)(80, 100 for counterclockwise rotation);

(3) pay attention to whether the pump outlet pressure gauge value in the specified technical specifications;

Pay attention to the movement of the pump is not normal noise or overheating phenomenon.

2) in case of leakage of the seal of the bitumen warm pump, please evenly pressure the bolts or nuts on the gland, but be sure not to be too tight to avoid intense heat, reduce the use of the pump shaft and seal ring under orders.

3) when the viscosity of conveying medium of bitumen insulation pump is high, it will produce vibration, noise and intermittent sound. The medium should be heated in time to reduce the viscosity, otherwise the bearing of the pump will be damaged.

4) after the stop of the bitumen insulation pump, first cut off the power supply, and then close the valve on the discharge pipe to avoid causing the pump to reverse.
